Yolanda “Yollie” Martinez Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend passed away Friday, August 27th at Kaweah Health Hospital in Visalia, California. She was 57 years old. Yolanda was born on April 1, 1964 in Dallas, Texas to Florentino & Guadalupe Martinez. She was 1 of a set of twins.
She had lived in Porterville, Woodlake, Farmersville, and most recently at the time of her death was living in Tulare, California. She attended St. Anne’s Catholic School as a child, Bartlett Junior High, and Monache High School.
Yolanda was a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years until she could no longer work due to her illness. She loved to dance, especially to Tejano and Cumbias. She loved her Dallas, Cowboys. Yollie also loved making her famous tortillas & cheesecakes. There’s not 1 person who did not love her food. She loved spending time with her grandkids, sisters, nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.
Yolanda attended Iglesia Bautista Getsemani. She never missed a service & was strong in her faith.
She is survived by her children Daughter Maria Lopez & her husband Jose Lopez, Daughter Natalie Cisneros & husband Fernando Cisneros, Sons Jose Gutierrez, Rolando Gutierrez, & Sergio Tolentino Jr. Grandchildren; Noehly Martinez, Emily Lopez, Izaiah Gutierrez, Ariah Cisneros, Genesis & Geneva Cisneros, Jaslene Lopez, Elijah Gutierrez, Aleena Cisneros, & Eretria Cisneros. Sisters; Esmeralda Martinez, Irene Martinez, Esther Martinez, & her Twin Sister Martha Martinez. Brothers; Jose Flores, Jesse Laurelez, Lupe Martinez.
Yolanda was a Great Friend to many. There’s not one person she wouldn’t help if she could. She is, was very loved by all and she will be greatly missed.
