It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Myra Theresa Delgado. She was called home to Heaven on December 10, 2021. Myra was born February 21, 1961 to Tony and Manuela Delgado. Myra, A child of God, Beloved Mother, Grandma, Aunt, Sister, Niece, Friend and long time beloved citizen of Porterville will be forever missed. She is survived by her children Tony, Elyssa, Fred, and Manuel who love her eternally. She was blessed with her beautiful grandchildren, Antoinette, Justyna, Freddie, Jesse, Alina, Lenny and her baby girl Mari-jane, whom she loved with all her heart. Myra is preceded in death by her parents Tony and Manuela Delgado, her son Cecil Vasquez and her beloved grandmother Stella Garay. Myra is proof that all can change from their past to the future of God's path of love and forgiveness. With a heart of gold she was loved by many local and beyond. What a blessing to have known Myra, she will always be loved.
A viewing will be held at Porterville Funeral & Cremation Center on Thursday January 6, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The Rosary will be held at Porterville Funeral & Cremation Center at 6:00 pm. The following morning Friday, January 7, 2022, at 11:00 am, Funeral Services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with a final resting place to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
