We are saddened to announce the passing of Angelica Villegas. She passed over from our lives to reunite with her son, Baby Sal, with her closest family surrounding her.
A beautiful daughter born to Jesus and Maria Garcia on the 25th day of October in 1978, Angelica was determined to have a career as a short hand reporter and those plans became action after graduation from Porterville high school in 1997. She attended Sierra Valley Business College and throughout her time in school, she held multiple jobs to support her family and chase her dream job. Angelica would go on to graduate from college on the 31st day of May in 2001. She was officially certified as a short hand reporter on January 22nd, 2002 and began her career with the Associated Reporters of Visalia soon after. She went on to work for Kings Court Reporting in Hanford before her final career destination in 2011. Angelica continued her passion as a reporter with Kern County Superior Court, her final stop in a long journey before her passing. Throughout her career she continued to sharpen her skills and add to her extensive accolades and certificates. She loved her line of work and strived to be one of the best.
Angelica had a love for a wide variety of entertainment. She loved to host friends and family in her home as often as possible. Angelica loved music no matter the genre, and dancing the night away with her loved ones no matter the location. Angelica was a jokester at heart, she loved to laugh, and the sound of it was unique, infectious and always put a smile on faces of those around her. She had a love for accessories such as jewelry, make up, and sunglasses, all the things necessary for a beautiful selfie. She enjoyed the sounds of the crashing ocean waves on the beach, feet in the sand, relaxing under the sun, and calming to the cool breezes combing through her hair.
Angelica loved her dogs, those close to her always knew her favorite was none other than her dachshund named Max whom she shared 15 years of companionship with. Most importantly she had a deep love for family. Angelica Was a proud mother of two sons, her first born Salvador Ysidro Villegas Jr whom she is now and forevermore reunited with in the heavens, and second born Marcus Cyrus Villegas who will carry on her reassemblance and memories through his journey in life. She found her eternal love in a high school crush, her husband Salvador Ysidro Villegas Sr, who was the keeper of her heart. She loved him with a great passion. 27 years of love and memories will carry on with him, embedded in his heart she'll remain.
Angelica was only 42 at the time of her passing. She was passionate about many things. She was a hard worker, a gatherer of people, she was fearless and always willing to try new things, she was a cool aunt, mom, sister, granddaughter cousin and friend. Angelica was always the life of the party, and the first one asleep. She was an amazing woman to those that surrounded her and although she is no longer here with us, she is forever emblazoned in our memories, and created a home in the hearts of all who loved her. May all our hearts create the beat that keeps her dancing in our thoughts, may our words be the lyrics that she would sing, and may the love she gave us all be what keeps her fire burning within us all. Angelica was a special woman and there will forever be that void in the flesh, but will be everlasting in memory.
Angelica is survived by her eternal loves, son Marcus Villegas, her husband Salvador Villegas Sr, her grandparents whom she loved dearly Jesus and Marciana Muñoz, her parents Jesus and Maria Garcia, her sisters and brothers in law Elena and John Jones with three children, and Irene and Jorge Gonzalez with three children, and the many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
